The National Centre of Indigenous Excellence in partnership with the Telstra Foundation has launched national consultations with Indigenous Australian communities to inform the development of the country's first Indigenous digital excellence strategy. 

 

It is intended that the national strategy will close the divide that separates many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians from digital participation as well as help Indigenous communities create their own prosperity through the application of, and participation in, technology.

 

The national consultations will collect the insights, experiences and aspirations from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and people from aroud the country, which will inform the strategy.
